Scout Locations for Photoshoots

In regard to scouting locations for photo shoots:
The majority of pictures featured in my magazine were taken at my home. However the process of picking an ideal shooting location in my home was a challenge. With a December theme in mind, i was able to capture holiday oriented pictures for my featured article and cover. For all of pictures focused on the individual nogs, i chose to take pictures in my kitchen. For my cover picture i opted for a close up shot of my family's Christmas tree. All pictures featured in my article were selected and taken with a holiday genre in mind. In closing, my scouting of locations for my magazine were based around genre, theme, best lighting and most aesthetic angles.
